Greetham Valley Golf Club has enlarged the coaching staff team – Gary Constable is the new arrival and will be at the Club full time as the principal PGA Advanced Professional, whilst Jim Hetherington is splitting his time between Whittlebury Park in Northamptonshire and Greetham Valley.
Gary has spent the previous eighteen years in the Middle East where he coached and managed at some of the most prestigious facilities in the region. He coached the Egyptian team to success at all levels and implemented the first structured Egyptian National Junior Development Program. He was also a founder member of the United Arab Emirates PGA Committee and had a major input into the growth of the game throughout the region.
He returned to his native Midlands to settle down with girlfriend Claire and joined the ever expanding N1Golf Academy. After looking at the facilities at Greetham Valley, Gary said that it was a very logical move, saying “the facilities at Greetham Valley have excellent potential for numerous coaching products.” Along with individual and group classes, he will be looking to put several different programs into place including a Junior Development Programme, Tuition Break Packages and Corporate Team Building Days. He also intends visiting schools in the area to bring the game to grassroots level.
Gary went on to say that he is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and passion for the game not only with Greetham Valley members but with visitors, guests and non-members. As a starter he is offering a two hour session which includes a one hour evaluation followed by a further hour of initial instruction to start pupils on their golfing improvement journey for just £40. Contact him at Greetham Valley on 07870 268273.
