Winter Rules apply from 20th October 2016 until further notice. Neil Curtis, Greetham Valley’s PGA Professional, says: ‘A ball lying on a closely-mown area through the green may be lifted without penalty and cleaned. before lifting the ball, the player MUST mark its’ position. Having lifted the ball, he must place it on a spot within 6 inches of and not nearer the hole than where it originally lay, that is not in a hazard or on a putting green. Note: “Closely-mown areas” means any area of the golf course, including paths through the rough, cut to fairway height or less’.
With two superb championship standard 18 hole golf courses, alongside a 9 hole par 3 Academy course, floodlit driving range and putting green, Greetham Valley is the perfect destination for golf in Rutland throughout the year.
