Receptionist

Reporting to the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for meeting and greeting all guests to Greetham Valley, whether they are checking in to a hotel room, attending a function or arriving for a golf tee time.  Minimum 40 hours per week although hours worked will be as required to meet the needs of the business.

Housekeeping

We currently have a part time position available for a Housekeeper to work in the housekeeping department.

The successful candidates will be required to work a minimum of 24 hours per week although hours worked will be as required to meet the needs of the business. Will include weekends on a rota basis

You will support the Head Housekeeper in ensuring the finest attention to detail in relation to the daily cleanliness standards of the 35 bedrooms at Greetham Valley, along with the Lodges, Lounge Bar, conference and function rooms and all public areas.

Own transport essential as we are not located on a bus route.

Chef de Partie

We are now looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team, minimum 40 hours per week, five days out of seven on a rota basis, although hours worked will be as required to meet the needs of the business.

We are based between Stamford and Oakham, approximately 10 miles up the A1 from Stamford towards Grantham.

Kitchen Cleaner/Potwash

Greetham Valley has a vacancy for a full-time kitchen cleaner to ensure the kitchen is immaculately clean and tidy at all times.

Working 5 shifts per week, including weekends.  Actual hours will be discussed at interview.

Duties include:

  • To ensure chef and kitchen laundry is clean and well presented
  • To prep veg and other food items that may be required from time to time under the direction of the chef on duty
  • To work in pot wash as required
  • To ensure that the kitchen is immaculately clean in all areas including the function prep area and all hot counters
  • To ensure the kitchen yard is cleaned and well presented at all times
  • To ensure that all company Health, safety and Hygiene procedures are strictly adhered to

You must be able to use your own initiative and remain diligent to your duties.  Reliability and attention to detail and clear focus are a must.

Seasonal Food & Beverage Assistants

We are looking for Food and Beverage Assistants to work for this summer period; you will be able to work day, evening and weekends shifts.

Responsibilities are looking after guests, customers, the bar, pouring drinks, taking and delivering food orders, collecting glasses and cleaning tables.

You will be prompt, reliable and work as part of a highly motivated and successful team.

Experience an advantage although full training will be given.

Contract period immediate start through to 31st December 2021.

Part Time Food and Beverage Assistant

This position provides direct support to the food and beverage department in all aspects related to the day to day food and beverage operations.

Working a minimum 16 hours per week the successful candidate will display excellent product and service standards, as well as consistency of delivery and a high attention to detail.

You will also be required to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Some experience preferred although not essential as full training will be given.

Flexibility is essential as working hours will include weekends and evenings with shift patterns to suit the needs of the business.

Part time Night Porter/Evening Bar Person

We are looking for a Night Porter/Evening Bar Person to work one night shift and one late bar shift per week.

The successful candidate will work two shifts per week, one night shift 10pm until 7am and one late bar shift 3pm until midnight.  Extra hours will be available to cover holidays and sickness.

Night shift duties include ensuring all areas throughout the building and grounds are locked, secure, tidy, and maintained in good working order, ready for the day’s activities and to provide after-hours contact for hotel residents.

Evening bar shift duties include providing support to the food and beverage team and to close down the bar at the end of the shift.
