Covid-19 Hotel Guidelines

Before leaving home

All reservations must be made in advance, with cancellation permissible up to 48 hours in advance for individual room bookings.

If you are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms or have been out of the UK within the last 14 days, you must not visit Greetham Valley and our cancellation policy will not apply.

You should plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes before your check-in time.

Please note that face coverings are now mandatory in all indoor public areas unless you are seated at a table for the consumption of food and beverage.

Check-in

Face coverings are mandatory in the hotel Reception and corridors. All our employees have been appropriately trained in Covid-19 safety measures. Screens have been installed in Reception and all staff have been provided appropriate PPE relevant to their area of work. 2 metre spacing is implemented at Reception and one guest is encouraged to check in per room on a one by one basis. Room key cards are sanitised after every use.

Public Areas

Sanitiser is provided throughout various areas of Greetham Valley.

Use of the lift is discouraged, doors are left open wherever possible.

Touch points are sanitised regularly.

Toilets have strict cleaning regulations, correct handwashing signage is installed and encouraged, paper towels and open bins for waste are provided.

Hotel Room

Thorough housekeeping cleaning protocols are in place after every guest check-out.

Guests staying a multiple of nights will not receive any ‘freshen up’ housekeeping.

All reading materials, spare pillows, blankets etc, have been removed. A kettle and sanitised mugs are provided.

A thorough check list for all hard surfaces and high touch points to be sanitised between room usage is provided to our housekeepers to best protect our staff and customer welfare.

Bathrooms are sanitised after every check-out with our normal vigorous cleaning standards and the addition of a hospital grade bacterial Covid-19 specific sanitiser.

Individually sealed sanitiser wipes are also available for your use in every room.

Lounge Bar

Enjoy a round of drinks and a limited menu selection on our patio or lounge bar, following the guidelines.

Table service is now mandatory. The Greetham Valley App should be downloaded prior to arrival and used for food and beverage ordering for the duration of your visit. Our bar and restaurant facilities will close at 10pm. Following closure, residents may retire to their rooms or our resident only private function suites. No bar facilities will be available after 10pm.
We will not be showing sports on our TVs in the bar after 10pm.

Seating will be socially distanced following the maximum rule of 6. Groups larger than 6, tables will be spaced accordingly within specific areas.

Health & Safety

Full risk assessments have been recorded and implemented for each area of the venue to ensure all appropriate precautionary measures have been undertaken for the well-being and safety of our staff and customers.

Following your stay

On returning home, should you experience any Covid-19 symptoms please inform both the NHS helpline and Greetham Valley immediately so appropriate track and trace measures can be implemented.
