Covid-19 Golf Guidelines

Play availability

Play is available for members and visitors. Member tee times may be booked twelve days in advance and visitors seven days in advance midweek and 72 hours in advance for weekend. Play is encouraged in three and four balls to maximise tee time availability to all and to maintain best chance of consistent speed of play. Please ensure you keep play moving as swiftly as possible for the enjoyment of all.

Before leaving home

If you are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms or have been out of the UK within the last 14 days, you must not visit Greetham Valley.

Tee times must be pre-reserved.

Visitors must book by calling us on 01780 460444.

You should plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes before your tee time. Changing rooms are closed: please arrive in golf attire and change your shoes in the carpark.

On arrival

Registration at the Golf Shop is essential for track and trace purposes and all players’ names must be recorded for each tee time. Please note that face coverings are mandatory in all indoor public areas. Please ensure you follow the rule of six with no gatherings outside the Golf Shop.

Tee time registration will initially be at the Golf Shop entrance; the Shop should be able to open properly from 12th April.

Clubhouse toilets and wash hand basins are open via the locker room entrances, please follow social distancing and hygiene protocols. Valley course toilet remains closed.

Pull trolleys are available and sanitised after every use. The sharing of buggies is permitted at the users’ choice, exercising due precautions and in consideration of the risks associated with Covid-19. Buggies and keys are sanitised after each use. Club hire is not currently available.

Contactless payments only, we are currently unable to accept any cash.

The Driving Range is open 7am-9pm, following guidelines. Baskets are sanitised, collected and returned to the Golf Shop.

The putting green is open and for use only immediately prior to your tee time following social distancing measures.

Course set up

All course furniture has been removed, covered or taken out of use, including most bins so please ensure any rubbish collected during your round is taken home with you or placed in the open bins around the Clubhouse after your round.

Flagsticks must not be removed or touched. Special hole inserts have been installed so that your ball can be retrieved from the hole without the need to touch the flagstick.

During your round

Please ensure social distancing and remain at least two metres apart at all times.

Bunker rakes have been removed so please smooth over the sand as best you can, using your foot or club.

After your round

Currently food and beverage is served to your table outside, with orders placed via the Greetham Valley EliteLive App.

The App (EliteLive) should be downloaded prior to arrival and used for food and beverage ordering for the duration of your visit. Click here for App Store or here for Google Play Store.

Enjoy a full variety of food and beverage on our patio, with the shelter of our open-sided marquee or in the open air around our putting green.

The traditional favourites are all available as choices on the menu, freshly cooked to order, all homemade using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our new additional deli options include homemade pies, baguettes and salads too.

On returning home, should you experience any Covid-19 symptoms please inform both the NHS helpline and Greetham Valley immediately so appropriate track and trace measures can be implemented.

Health & Safety

Full risk assessments have been recorded and implemented for each area of the Club to ensure all appropriate precautionary measures have been undertaken for the well-being and safety of our staff and customers.
